2020年12月9日，海合會國際貿易反損害行為技術秘書局發布公告，對原產于中國的進口厚度大于0.2mm、小于8mm的鋁合金薄板和條帶作出反傾銷初裁，裁定自中國進口的涉案產品存在傾銷，對海灣國家產業造成實質性損害，并存在因果關系，決定繼續調查，但暫不采取臨時反傾銷措施。

2020年4月29日，海合會國際貿易反損害行為技術秘書局發布公告，決定對原產于中國的進口厚度大于0.2mm、小于8mm的鋁合金薄板和條帶（Plates, Sheets, and Strip, of aluminium alloys, of a thickness notexceeding 8 mm but greater than 0.2mm, except those polished, coated, heattreatable, and aluminium can stock used for beverage cans and its lids.）啟動反傾銷立案調查，涉案產品海關編碼為76061200、76069200。
