01 電話號碼這么念
◆念一串電話號碼時，最好每三個或四個數(shù)字中間停頓一下。
◆連在一起的兩個或三個相同數(shù)字，可以用double或triple，比如：
222 讀作 triple two；
3344 讀作 double three，double four；
5555 讀作 double five，double five，如果要說“five five five five”也可以，但不要說four five，那是45。
02 郵箱地址這么說
◆@讀作“at”，所以，John@gmail.com就是“John，at，gmail，dot，com”。
◆如果用戶名的部分有標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號，常見幾種這么讀：
“/” 讀作 “forward slash”。
“-” 讀作 “hyphen [‘ha?f(?)n]” or a “dash”。
“_” 讀作 “underscore”。
03 接通電話
◆不知道來電者是誰時，可以禮貌的詢問：
May I ask who’s calling?
Could I have your name,please?
請問您是？/能否告知您的姓名？
◆在公司，接電話要先報上自己的名字。
但不要說“I am”或“My name is”，直接在自己的名字后面加上“speaking”就可以了。
Hello,John Smith speaking.
你好，我是約翰·史密斯。
◆請某人接聽電話時：
A: Can I speak to Mr Smith,please?/
Is Mr Smith there,please?
我能和史密斯先生通話么？/史密斯先生在么？
◆如果對方找的人正是你，可以這樣回復(fù)：
A: Can I speak to Lily,please?
可以幫我接一下Lily嗎？
B: Speaking.
我就是。
04 留下口訊
◆對方要找的人不在，你可以說明情況，注意在句首禮貌的加上“I’m afraid”或者“I’m sorry”。比如:
I’m afraid Mr Smith is out of the office today.
抱歉史密斯先生今天不在公司。
I’m afraid his line is engaged. 他正在通話中。
其他可能的情況還有：
…off sick today.請病假了
…in a meeting.開會中
…on holiday.休假了
◆詢問對方是否需要留信息
Would you like to leave a message？
您需要留個言嗎？
◆如果想要對方幫忙捎個信，可以這樣說：
Could you take a message?
Could you ask him to call me back?/return my call?
能否讓他給我回個電話？
05 通話突發(fā)狀況處置
◆聽不清對方的話
I’m sorry ,could you speak up,please?
不好意思，你能大聲點(diǎn)嗎？
I’m sorry,I can’t hear you very well.
不好意思，我聽不清您的話。
I’m sorry,the line’s bad-could you repeat what you just said?
不好意思，線路很差，您能重復(fù)一下剛剛的話嗎？
◆沒聽懂對方的意思
I’m sorry，could you repeat that please？
不好意思，你能重復(fù)一下嗎？
Sorry,I didn’t quite catch that.
不好意思，我沒聽清。
Sorry,I didn’t catch your surname.
抱歉，我沒聽清你的姓名。
I’m sorry，I didn’t get that.
Could you say it again，please？
不好意思，我沒聽到，您能再說一遍嗎？
I’m afraid I don’t follow you.
Could you repeat it,please?
不好意思，我沒聽明白，您能重復(fù)一下嗎？

◆糾正對方的說法
Actually，it’s 16，not 60.
事實上，是16，不是60.（強(qiáng)調(diào)引起困惑的詞）
I’m sorry，but I think there’s been a misunderstanding.
The payment’s due next week，not next month.
不好意思，但我認(rèn)為這里有點(diǎn)誤會。這筆賬下周到期，而不是下個月。
I’m sorry，but that’s not quite right…

◆確認(rèn)自己是否理解正確
So if I understand you correctly…
所以如果我理解得正確的話…
When you say… do you mean…？
你說的……，是……意思嗎？
